Abstract

Selbstorganisation mit einem Dreh: Lineare Polyammoniumfäden sind die Template für die Anordnung helicaler heterocyclischer Bausteine zu Stapeln von Helices als Modell für das Tabakmosaikvirus. Die Länge des kationischen Substrats und der Abstand der positiven Ladungen im Faden bestimmen die Größe der resultierenden selbstorganisierten supramolekularen Architektur (siehe Bild).
